And he likes to do that in style whenever he makes a public appearance. Ahead of his fight against John Ryder, he made no exception, as he wore a custom-made suit for the face-off.
The reigning super-middleweight champion shared pictures of his outfit on his Instagram. But, as expensive and unique as his outfit was, it seems like he failed to impress some boxing fans who did not hesitate to take jabs at the 32-year-old over his fashion choice.
Alvarez wore a custom-made Dolce and Gabbana outfit for the face-off against Ryder. And, it is something the Mexican does before every one of his fights. And, for his homecoming fight, he donned a Mexico-inspired outfit with white shoes with the Mexican flag on it.
Alvarez will be performing in front of 50,000 Mexicans, which has been his long-time dream. The fight marks the champion’s return to his home soil after over 11 years.
