Disney star Cameron Boyce is being admitted to CBS’ “Code Black” for a guest star role, Variety has learned exclusively.
Best known for his lead roles in Disney Channel original movie “Descendants” and Disney XD series “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything,” Boyce will appear in the 17th episode of the CBS medical drama, scheduled to air on February 17. He’ll play 16-year-old Brody, who is staying at a boot camp for troubled teens — but when he ends up at Angels Memorial Hospital with various mysterious injuries, it soon becomes apparent that all is not what it seems.
“Code Black” stars Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey, Luis Guzmán, Melanie Chandra, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth and William Allen Young. Michael Seitzman, David Marshall Grant, Brett Mahoney, Molly Newman, Ryan McGarry, Marti Noxon and Linda Goldstein Knowlton serve as executive producers on the series, which hails from ABC Television Studios in association with CBS Television Studios.
Boyce is represented by Emily Urbani at Osbrink Talent Agency. He’ll next appear in a sequel to “Descendants,” scheduled to debut on Disney Channel in 2017, and an episode of the network’s “Jessie” spinoff “Bunk’d,” airing Feb. 12.

Other notable guest stars heading to “Code Black” in its freshman season include Beau Bridges and New York Giants player Odell Beckham Jr., and Meagan Good, who will recur as Dr. Grace Adams, an attending physician who has a history with Neal (Jaffrey).
“Code Black” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
